  1. I hate the rubberised coating on electronics. Sennheiser have adopted a bland and boring look for their new consumer headphones, and they're coated in that rubber finish. Get back to the drawing board!

  2. Well this is fun. Please mack more Special headphones video. And I see the B&W P9 on the back wall that is also very special. When can I see the video you made for it.

  3. Pushing watts to drive silence. Although I will never buy noise cancelling stuff (I don't routinely use public transport, I have IEMs, and an old video of yours about ANC tech put me off) but I still found it fascinating. Thanks for the video.

  4. Helicopter pilot here: i have zulu 3s and I really enjoy them. I have never had any interference problems but that could be to an overall less amount of displays compared to a airliner. Could maybe be the single cord. Also the non reversable mic ia not an issue in a helicopter due to a typically smaller cockpit layout and the port is usually behind you and above you, making the power unit up,and behind you as well. I have flown a lot of night with no priblems from the green light so thats interesting.

I tried the Bose A20 amd disliked it for two main reasons. The earcups are smaller and less confortable bc for me they press on the rim of my ear and after time its very uncomfortable, to each their own on that. Also the build quality suffers being all plastic the bose feel cheaper even thoigh they cost a lot more. Clamp force is also heightened with the Bose, a personal dislike.

Lightspeed doesnt charge for bluetooth. I can make calls and bluetooth music from the air since helicopters stay low, and i think they are a nicer headphone overall.

Lightspeed also makes a Tango that is wireless and if it fails or dies you can connect a pass through cord. Not sure about the TSO certified however.

Anyway, nice review Z, as always.

  5. Fixed wing pilot here, just wanted to say that there's no reason you should be scared to go on a flight with a licensed pilot in a small aircraft.

The chances of an incident or fatality is so much lower than the actual drive to the airport.

Student pilots can spend up to 4 years in flight school before they have shown to certified instructors that they have the extensive technical knowledge and pilotage skills required to safely undergo all terrains of flight.

And even then, they need to renew medical certification, and undergo an official flight test with a certified instructor every two years.

Pilots don't get nearly enough credit, and that shows, since we're at the greatest shortage of pilots in the history of aviation.

    Great review btw
